My Permission
Today I am giving you permission to love and accept yourself as you are.
I give you permission to love who you are while making choices about food.
I give you permission to become more aware of your food stories and cravings while accepting what is.
I give you permission to make changes in what you eat and how you eat with the intention to do better and be better.
I give you permission to persevere in nourishing yourself every day.
I’m giving you this permission because there was a time in my life when I needed to love and accept myself as I was, but I didn’t do it, and I made my body suffer because of my choice. So I am offering this permission to you.
I created a downloadable page you can save, print, and sign. Fold it to fit in your wallet, pocket, or journal. When you buy food, eat, or reflect on life, you can remind yourself that you are practicing self-love and self-acceptance.
The page invites you to commit to three things: loving and accepting yourself, being aware of your thoughts and actions, and being patient with becoming better.
Making this commitment or recommitting to yourself is about always being honest, gentle, and consistent with yourself.
